8 WEEKS. 8 AGREEMENTS.

AdHouse InHouse is the first class of its kind: one that pays in knowledge and hard cash. But make no mistake. This class is a two-way street. Your instructors are giving you their experience and wisdom. The clients are giving you real briefs and a real paycheck. But you are committing to the points below. Seriously committing.

1. Show up. Show up on-time, prepared, rehearsed and have your hand-raised. Be ready to go. Ready to work. Be ready to run toward the fire.

 2. No excuses. There are no excuses for not meeting any of the demands above. This is a job. You have a commitment.

 3. Work. The clients and teachers involved in AdHouse InHouse are professionals. We can tell when something was "dashed-off" or done the last minute. From the moment you get your assignment, you are working on your assignment. Not squeezing working in. Working with every breath.

 4. Be open. To ideas. Suggestions. Criticisms. To throwing out what you have and starting over.

 5. Listen. To the language you hear on the subway. To the way people speak. To what your client wants and how your teacher frames the brief. You can't question or improve if you don't first listen.

 6. Raise your hand. Always keep your head up and ask for more work.

 7. Research. Find interesting things about the problems you're trying to solve and the people you're speaking to.

 8. Be human. Is your work fun, human, informative, simple-to-understand? Are you solving a problem for the viewer?

If you’re down with all that and you can give us eight weeks of your time starting in March, then you should fill out the application below.
