Adhouse was founded by advertising recruiter Lauren Slaff way back in 1997 on the firm belief that the highest caliber of creatives in the business today could help students take their books and their abilities as far as they could possibly go. Adhouse was conceived to bring together the best and the brightest in advertising to design a curriculum capable of actually helping students create work that measures up to their own.
Every Adhouse teacher would be a highly awarded creative and a leader in the industry, currently and boldly making their mark on the field as we know it. And classes would be held not in some classroom, but in thew agencies where the teachers worked, giving the students the same intense scrutiny that make the pros better every day.
More than an ad school, Adhouse has become a real-world training ground to help those outside the creative world do what it takes to get their first jobs, and those already in the field get better jobs. Our most successful students have secured coveted positions at creative hot-shops, including Wieden+Kennedy, McCann, David & Goliath, 72 & Sunny, Baldwin&, RGA, Havas, Goodby Silverstein, Mother, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Taxi , Venables Bell & Partners, TBWA Chiat/Day and more.
Those who excel here have one characteristic in common: tenacity. They’re willing to dedicate themselves to working extremely hard to create memorable portfolios.
